That is so much crap, Spectrum has gone down on service, I have various customers in NYC that have Spectrum with Static IP and they have an Ethernet drop for that instead. I let it sit at that because out fiber (supposedly) will be in by March1 and what ems to me Spectrum wants to compete with Comcast of delusional customer service.Īpparently, this is what a Fiber over Copper connection looks like. I was then told that if you have a static IP you can not get a "true bridge" due to limitations of the cable modems (and they will not in business let you BYOM).
